Hawaii Mars Edition (Limited Release)
This release ships with a limited-edition label honouring the Hawaii Mars — the legendary Martin Mars water bomber. Built in 1945 and converted to a water bomber in 1958, she flew out of Sproat Lake for more than fifty years, protecting Vancouver Island's forests. Her last firefighting season was 2015, and in August 2024 she made her final flight. She is now a permanent exhibit at the BC Aviation Museum in North Saanich, five minutes from our distillery. We printed one thousand labels in her honour — that's the entire edition.
Every 750 mL bottle of this edition contributes to the BC Aviation Museum's Martin Mars preservation fund — supporting the long-term care of the aircraft after decades of service. Same WildFire Whisky. Limited label. When the labels are gone, the edition is done.
